Autumn’s Farewell…

Yesterday, Fall trembled on the cusp of the coming season…one bright leaf, a deep purple berry…what remains when lilacs are finished blooming and the promise of next Spring’s flowers. Shot these images in the last light of the waning afternoon and when I awoke this morning, I discovered that Jack Frost had paid us a visit, leaving behind colder temperatures and a dusting of the white stuff to remind us that Autumn has bid us a fond farewell…
